I did something similar to your conditions exercise earlier in the year when I was thinking of my fitness goals, actually! Just like your example, I wanted to work out regularly, but I had to be having a blast. And, now I’ve consistently gone to spin class (dancing on bikes w/ loud music & cool lighting is like an exercise partaaay) 4–5x/wk for the past 4 months! The point you made about building your schedule around your must-haves is super important, because if making self-care (or whatever) has never been a priority before, your life has to shift in a way it’s never shifted before.
